I'm so excited that you’ve decided to have me as your photographer for your big day!
Just read the terms, fill out the details below, sign, and once the payment has come through your day is officially booked!
The parties (both myself and you as The Client) agree to the following payments;
Total price for wedding photography services - £995 (full day)
Non-refundable deposit to secure booking - £300
Remaining balance due 4 weeks prior to wedding date - £695
2. On your wedding date
a. Client acknowledges Photographer may be limited in scope by rules of the location of the ceremony and/or reception. (i.e., flash photography may not be allowed within a Church).
b. Client agrees to provide a meal for Photographer if Photographer’s attendance is required for greater than five hours.
c. Photographer will endeavour to get photographs of as many guests as possible, which may be limited by guests’ cooperation in having their photo taken.
d. While Thomas Marcel Dale Photography welcomes guests to take their own photos/videos of the day, these must take second priority to the photos taken under this contract. It is the responsibility of The Client and/or wedding party to ensure that smartphones/cameras are not obstructing the photographer.
e. Thomas Marcel Dale Photography will have exclusivity on the day for ‘stills’ shots/photos. By signing this contract The Client agrees that Thomas Marcel Dale Photography will be the sole professional photographer for the day. This does not apply to ‘videography’ services, but please let the photographer know if you do decide to bring on a videographer as well to ensure the smooth running of your day.
f. Any directions issued to clients, their guests or employees during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said persons own risk. The photographer cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.
g. In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in
any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the
contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
h. FORCE MAJEUR: Photographer is not liable for failure to perform resulting from acts of God (Including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster).
3. After your wedding date
a. Thomas Marcel Dale Photography will aim to have your edited photos back to you within 4 weeks of the wedding date. In certain circumstances, such as a busy season, this may be extended to 6 weeks. However this is in extreme circumstances and you should get your photos within the 4 week period.
b. Once a set of high resolution digital files have been delivered, the responsibility to preserve the images passes to The Client, and the decision whether The Photographer will keep a copy or not will be entirely at The Photographer’s discretion.
c. Photographer shall maintain the copyright of all photographs. Photographer grants Client permission to make copies of the images for personal use by Client and their family and friends. Sale, publication, or any other commercial use is specifically prohibited without the prior written consent of Photographer.
d. The professional images you receive of your day will be those that have been edited, colour corrected and exposed in keeping with the style of the Photographer. RAW, unedited files are unavailable for The Client. At The Photographer’s discretion, certain images may be re-edited at The Client’s request.
e. By signing this contract, The Client agrees that any photos taken under this contract may be used for promotional purposes, portfolio, and posted to social media. Photos may also be printed for physical portfolio of the photographer.
a. By Client - Client may cancel this Agreement at any time prior to the event. Upon cancellation, Client will be entitled to a refund of any monies paid, except for the non-refundable deposit.
b. By Photographer - Thomas Marcel Dale Photography may cancel this Agreement at any time. If Photographer cancels, it must provide a suitable, replacement Photographer, subject to Client’s approval, which shall be obtained in writing. In the alternative, Photographer shall refund all monies previously paid by Client, including the non-refundable deposit.
